The home we have owned the longest and the one that has meant the most to us is on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
Eleuthera is one of the family islands and is very quiet with few tourists and no casinos. Our house sits on top of a hill in the middle of the island and since the island is only a mile wide we have a great view of both the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans.
The world famous Surfers Beach is just an easy ten minute walk away and most days we try to get our exercise by going to the reef protected north end for a quick dip.
